Here's a picture that I have been wanting to finish for a long time! Obviously (as the title says), Bella is in depression in this picture.

Unlike most people who were sick of Bella in New Moon, I completely empathized with her. I only did because I wrote a story in which the main male character left the female and she had to deal with it throughout the whole book. I felt the pain that Bella felt, especially when she would just collapse to her knees and hold herself tight so that she wouldn't fall apart. Also, I think that this was because Stephenie Meyer is just a super special AWESOME author!

Anyways...one of the scenes that got me the most was in Chapter 10: "The Meadow", when Bella rediscovers Edward's meadow.

The disappointment was nearly as instantaneous as the recognition. I sank down right where I was, kneeling there at the edge of the clearing, beginning to gasp.

What was the point of going any farther? Nothing lingered here. Nothing more than the memories that I could have called back whenever I wanted to, if I was ever willing to endure the corresponding pain - the pain that had me now, had me cold. There was nothing special about this place without him . I wasn't exactly sure that I'd hoped to feel here, but the meadow was empty of atmosphere, empty of everything, just like everywhere else. Just like my nightmares. My head swirled dizzily.

I don't know why, but I just felt so bad for her in this scene. However, it also inspired me to draw a picture. I have thank my friend Kaity for posing for me so I could get Bella's pose right. Without her, the pose would have sucked, or the picture would have taken me even longer to finish!

I know that there are no wildflowers when Bella gets there in New Moon (I actually just found that out a second ago), but I just liked them in the picture, so DEAL with it! ^_^

I am very happy with how this picture turned out, and I hope that you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed making it! ^_^
