Description
With the help of we came up with a reason for Ali's (from the land before time franchise) dad's absents in my OC/head cannon.In a RP me and chipmunkraccoonoz did , Ali showed Littlefoot and the others via a memory viewing spell my fairy OCs can use.
That when she was younger , and before she and her mum joined the large migrating herd. Her dad died while trying to protect Ali and her mum from a plated Sharptooth aka giganotosaurus as seen in LBT 5.

Animedalek1! You won't believe this, I had a nightmare about the Sharptooth from the original land before time! I was a Tenonotosaurus who was walking across the Mysterious Beyond. I was all alone as I was looking around, then I heard a scream. Sharptooth!!! It was Littlefoot and Cera who screamed. They were running and screaming. As I watched them run, I suddenly realized I was in the events of the original Land Before Time! Then I saw Sharptooth. I ran and ran as it chased me along with Littlefoot and Cera. Then Littlefoot's mother came to try and save her son and Cera, (Hopefully me too) The two dinosaurs fought eachother as I hid behind a huge rock. But then The great Earthshake came, Everything shook and huge cracks opened the ground, I fell into the crack along with the Sharptooth! Then that's when i woke up. It was 4:55 AM.

Did this plated Sharptooth want to kill for food, or for sadistic pleasure like the original Sharptooth?

since this is similar to Littlefoot's mother's fate, I wondered if you were trying to evoke the original Sharptooth.

This picture made me think of the fourth part of ElsieLowling's LBT Retold series, given how it's stated Ali lost her dad there as well.
(Albeit to a prehistoric crocodile, but still).
