It was still a few days before Molly's birthday, and Ash, his mom Delia, Serena, and Lillie did all they could to not let on that they were planning a party for her.

And came up with white lies when she asked where they'd been or gone

Mallow was busy making a cake that Molly would like.

and she worked diligently to make sure it was perfect.

And even set a time when she put it in the oven so it wouldn't burn

When the day of Molly's birthday came, Ash, Serena, and Lillie left the hotel before Molly woke up. The plan was for Molly to spend some time with Delia.

While they got things ready at Mallows family restaurant

After getting herself ready, Delia went to see if Molly was awake.

Molly was still fast asleep but her 2 pet pokemon were awake

Delia: (giggles) Teddiursa, Chespin, would you like to wake Molly up? (whispers to them) It's her birthday, today.

Both pokemon nodded and went up to her bed

and they saw Molly's feet were sticking out of the sheets.

So they both went up to Molly's exposed feet and tickled them

Her feet twitched a bit and she began giggling.

They tickled some more until she sat up laughing

Molly: (laughs) Okay, okay! I'm up, I'm up!

With that her 2 pokemon friends stopped Tickling

Then she saw Delia standing there with a smile.

Molly: Morning Aunt Delia.

Delia: (walks over to Molly's bed) Good morning, birthday girl. (kisses Molly's forehead)

Molly: *gasp* Its my birthday!

Delia: Mm-hmm. Ash, and the girls are a little busy right now, but they'll meet up with us later. Right now, why don't you get dressed, and we'll have breakfast?

With that, she jumped out of bed and started getting ready. Delia smiled, and looked at the time. She knew that Spencer and Eliza Hale would arrive by plane soon.

They'd planned a while back to come to Alola for Molly's birthday, though Delia also knew she'd have to go back to kanto soon

Meanwhile, Ash, Serena, and Lillie were helping decorate Mallow's family restaurant for the party. Their Pokémon were each taking part.
Mallow: Glad you guys could come to help out.

Ash: Least we could do. As you closed the restaurant today so we could have Molly's party here

Serena: Plus, Mrs. Ketchum wanted to spend some time with her before going back to Kanto with Molly's parents.

Just then, Lillie spied Lana and her family coming in.

Sarah and Harper were about the same age as Molly and were both identical twins, though one difference was Harper wore a pink t-shirt with a picture of a slowpoke on it and Sarah wore a yellow T-shirt with a picture of a shellder on it
