Seeing as it was reviled that Bea met Korrina in the Pokemon journeys anime. Then I could see her meet fellow fighting type GYM leader and martial artist Maylene too. Plus their both barefooter's.And in my head cannon they both trained in marital arts together along with Korrina when they were younger.
