These Cursuvenatorids began to outcompete their ancestors, becoming deadly, efficient killers. While their ancestors used their pincer claws as their killing weapons, these predators instead use their front legs claws to pierce their preys breathing tubes, allowing them to punch well above their weight class. However, if they miss the breathing tubes, they do not give up the hunt, instead keeping their arm claws pierced into their preys hide while the pincers tear off pieces of flesh, causing immense bloodloss and pain.
