These are the heaviest terrestrial Patellatestids, with the largest species weighing almost a pound. They have bulky, pillar like claws at the end of every feet, however due to the shape of their claws, they are unable to climb up steep surfaces. These creatures are able to hunt most of the animals that are smaller than themselves. Their tough teeth can crunch through even the hardest shells. While they cannot outrun many of their prey items, they usually ambush from clusters of foliage.
