flame is one of my favorite side characters, and i hope we get to see him again.(and tbh, i wouldnt be too surprised if he actually gets to Play a more important role in the current arc, the fact that he can kick mindreaders out of his head seems like an oddly specific Detail to never bring it up again, and Maybe he could do that with wasps mind Control too)

Oooooooo just everyone talks him into going there and he goes there and just yells in wasps face

I nearly said something about Wasp's mind control ability since it was mentioned, but I probably shouldn't before knowing if you've read The Hive Queen or not.

Okay. What I was gonna say was, Wasp's mind control actually wouldn't work on Flame in the first place, since she can only affect non-hybrid HiveWings who she has injected with that plant in the greenhouse Sundew and co. burned.

was it mentioned in the books that it only works on hivewings? i cant remember that :0 I thought that she would save the Poison for hivewings only because silkwings are relatively harmless and easy to Control, and from what i can read in the books she propably discovered the mind Control during the war, so there was no Point to Control leafwings too if she wanted to hold up an Illusion of Control over her own tribe

I only remember cricket theorizing that she might be a hybrid, wich she gets from the belief that wasp can only mind Control hivewings :0 I think it was never clarefied if she can use the Poison on other tribes too (and tbh, i cant see how else she would be a threat to the pyrrhian tribes, if she wouldnt be able to use chemical Warfare)

i think he appeared in starflights and Sunnys books, then again in the second arc in moon rising (where we got to see some of his thoughts via moonwatcher, who he then kicked out of his head as he noticed someone was reading his mind) then again in Talons of power, that are his appearences that i can think of rn ^^ so he was around quiet a lot for a side character
also he had a Dream Visitor with him that he stole from starflight, and we still dont know what he was doing with it :0

Darkstalker healed his scar but if I remember correctly he was forced to do Darkstalker's bidding

im not sure if darkstalker forced him to do anything tbh, but he could defenetely forsee what flame would do if he healed his scar, so Maybe he used that as an opportunity to get close to stonemover, since other animus Dragons are the only real threat to him.
( even though darkstalker seemed genuinely surprised )
and if darkstalker couldn't forsee his Actions, it would only mean that flame is incredibly unpredictable, even for the most powerful seers. So yeah, flame is a really cool character

honestly there are side characters that appear for Maybe one page or are just mentioned once and become fandom favorites in this series, it's one of my favorite Things in These books :'D the world seems so alive that way
