This is a sketch I did for my Fundamentals of Design class.
Our assignment is to create a design based on Greek or Roman mythology and to use lines to create texture.
No soft shading allowed, just lines.. crosshatching etc. [which I hate].

Anyway~ I'm totally super uber proud of this<3 I just wish the grape laurels in his hair were more distinguishable.

Dionysus is the Greek god of wine[Know as Bacchus in Roman mythology]. He is said to be one of the youngest gods, and he's more or less a party boy.

<.<; and I totally didn't choose to draw him just because he's young and good looking... nope... >.>; not me, I'd never do that....
