Well, here I am yet again redesigning Link. I honestly can't remember what spurned this idea on. It popped into my head and I knew I had to draw it, since Link wearing a kilt is just the logical conclusion of all those years wearing a man-skirt tunic with very little underneath.I must say, the idea of Link talking in a Scottish brogue is quite adorable.

This is very well done! I myself have always thought there were elements of Zelda that seemed oddly related to Celtic mythology and such. Not to mention, Hyrule looks a lot like the plains of Scotland!

Wow, I'm really impressed with how well this was drawn. The color tone is very natural looking and I like the soft lighting it has. And I've noticed that Link seems to be shrugging too, or half way though one any way with the way the shoulders are tense, but it does make it look like Link is ready for some action!

I used red in little details as the complimentary color of green, of which there is a lot. I agree that perhaps some red could have been used in the plaid he's wearing. Who knows. Maybe I'll make an updated picture or an action picture featuring 'Scottish Link'.

It would make sense, since he holds his sword and shield on his back. And from what i can tell, the Legend of zelda kinda reminds me a LITTLE of norse mythology. So this makes sense

Dang, he looks badass in a kilt! ...but then, rare is the man who is NOT improved by a kilt. Kilts and tuxedos, almost no man doesn't look awesome in them.

Och,aye,it's Link an' isn't he a wee bit adorable in that kilt. An' ye even got the sporran on the front.
Now that I've got that out in the open, this is a really original idea! And that sword and scabbard are truly aces.
I love the detail you did with not only getting him in a kilt,but putting the entire tartan over his shoulders like a true clansman.
I had some things to say,but the critique already covered them well enough!Great job though!
