Hi, friends !well, weeks ago I upload in my galery a few basic sketches of a MLP fan work project
In this scale , you can see the the main character of this project with their lineart.
Ok, let's the explanation
in the model our can see the six main ponie heroines:
Twilight Sparkle, Rainbow Dash, Rarity, Pinkie Pie, Applejack and Fluttershy
after their our have the models of Spike, Princess Celestia and her sister, Princess Luna and a basic model of the pegasus royal guard
The three new ponies are a spacial creation mine for this work:
Thunderchild, the eletric unicorn
Icebreaker, the frost pegasus
Fireworker, the flame mare
They are "The Fabulous Tri-Sis"
This trio of sisters will help Princess Luna( for her tough luck ....)
Finally, what would be the heroes without villains, is not it?
This demon ram is Grogar, the lord of Darkness of ancient Tambelon city
behind him, see his servant, Bray, the donkey and the new Grogar's particular sorceress, the great and powerfull Trixie
as also have the model of commander in chief of Tambelon's army, the commander Hammer Horn and basic model of the goats soldiers and elite soldiers of Grogar's army
How I explain in the first model, Grogar and Bray are characters of the 80's original series and, I belive that can be a good idea make a "remake" of some old ideas
Soom I will upload the the color version of this model and more some studies of this idea

Really awesome design for Grogar. I'm going to have appear in a fic I'm working on. He's going to be a right nasty piece of work, probably one of if not the most dangerous enemy Equestria has ever faced.

Basically in this timeline, Tambelon has never entered Equestria, so nopony has knowledge of Grogar or his minions. The guy is from another dimension and his city has been floating in the void between worlds (like the one in Doctor Who or Wishmaster) for an unknown period of time. I had the idea of the Sonic Rainbooms causing some kind of weakness in the dimensional barrier, which catches Grogar's attention. I have this vision of Tambelon being a massive floating city at least ten miles in diameter, which breaches the clouds like the spaceships in Independence Day when it first appears.

In MLP Wiki: Grogar is a demon ram necromacer, god level, most powerfull than any unicorn that have lived... you can do he has control another monsters of MLP mytology like Crush, the rock dog and the Fugitive Flowers.

He's going to have undead minions at his command, a lots of them. As for Crush, a few like him would certainly prove a formidable challenge to the good guys. Not sure what the Fugitive Flowers are though. Bray will probably appear as well, though I'm not sure if he'll lean more towards good or not.

and, in fact, I belive that if the productors of the current serie do a "remake" in some characters of the old serie can work better that some actuals ideas.
for example, in the first season, our ponies heroines not have true "enemies" ( with the exception of Nightmare Moon and even it is not all "bad" since it is the princess Luna corrupted) but "problens"

One villain I REALLY wish they would bring back is that villain from g1 that stole baby pony's shadows XD. So evil~ I even drew his zebra sidekick once.
Kid's shows these days are much less... scary, weird.

well, for this fan work I want use some elements of the original serie
for example the sea ponies and a special thing
in the original serie the pony Posey ( The earlier incarnation of Fluttershy ) is friend of giant crab monsters
I will use those creatures for help the ponies

bem, defato ela esta um pouco mais "saradinha"...creio que seria pela diferença de estilos, ja que minha ideia basicamente, seria uma versão "anime" deste tema

and, you are right.. the current serie is amazing but,the only problem (in my humble opinion) is the lack of villains, because during the series, the ponies face more "obstacles" than "threats" themselves
so, looking the original series I find the original four chapter of "retour of Tambelon" and I star doing a "remake" of this idea using elements of the current serie
the basic idea, like in the original serie, Grogar is a cruel lord of darkness is banned for Celestia (that was one of the great things she did ) However, every 500 years, Equestrian and Tambelon dimensions come into alignment, creating a kind of portal ... which can only be opened from the Equestria by a magic unicorn...
Naturally, none of unicorn of Equestria foolish enough to do this, but unfortunately, there is a unicorn who is arrogant enough to do this
Trixie
Trixie is convinced by the servant of Grogar, Bray, to do a spell that breaks the seal that separates the two dimensions, which allows Grogar, along with his city fortress, Tambelom, his army of goats return to Equestria
of course, this is a basic idea, have more things that I need work
about the size of the characters, yes Grogar is huge ^^, he can crush his enemies easily

Ahh yes, some evil may grant rewards, and of course, I picture she's indeed a dark sorceress. But once defeated is done, Trixie admits she's no longer powerful and in the end, she decides not to do anymore harm nor boasting around. Twilight shows mercy when Celestia decides to either take her to custody or at least give her one last chance.

well,in the beginning, Trixie will love use the powers that Grogar will give to her, but when she realize who is really her new master and what he pretent make with Equestria and the princess Celestia ( Grogar win a fight with Celestia and capture she, and using his powers, he will steal her powers, reducing it to a normal mare and banish her ββto the realm darkness ), Trixie will realize that she made a big mistake, and sorry for what she did, will try to do something
the question is: is it too late for her to do something?

Ahh yes, when she realized that when evil is triumphant and Celestia is lost, she cannot take on the lust of power when she gain benefit to herself while the others are left to suffer.

true, Trixie can be an arrogant and conceited unicorn , but I believe she would not be "evil" I mean, she will accept the power of Grogar, but to prove that it is better to Twilight

I know that too, she's just boasting and think she's powerful until she realized she's not. But admitting of seeing herself not powerful is what I know she will not accept.
