Some Splatoon 3 fan art for you all. Colored pencils and outlined with ink. In the game, you have a companion Smallfry, who is an enemy in the Salmon Run mode. There's no in-game explanation of how or why this former enemy follows you around, it just does. So in my brain, my Inkling was finishing a shift when she found a Smallfy covered in ink. Normally, these guys splat when covered in enemy ink, but this guy was just laying in the ink, almost swimming in it! She bent down and picked it up by the tail, and the rest is history.
