Actually i personally prefer never to be "shown" the inspiration to anything. Yours is a world away from the original. It reminded me of travels in Iran, India. I think you could create a serie that highlight the life of woman behind the veil and or working at weaving etc... very inspirational!

The eye looks amazing, mysterious. You can't tell what the person is thinking. The tapestry is so intricate, so many details... wow!

haha you really re-made it from the base. This should be a zombie according to the ref. pic. Don't look like that but still it's interesting. Just look at the pattern.... ^^
