Your mixed media is AWESOME!! Makes for a BEAUTiFUL cocophony and it's singing very loudly to me!! Your vision for each section you've laid out and the ideas of what to use where is splendid!! Comes together just beautifully!!

OOPS...had a typo It's acutally cacophony and I was using it as a metaphor in a sense. It's actually normally used when refering to a "mixture of sounds" but in your case it would be a mixture of mediums
Only thing.. your mixture makes for something really BEAUTIFUL whereas the mixture of sounds can at times be grading on your nerves and your piece is far from that so best that I stop trying to be clever...LOL! Let's just say this is WONDERFUL WORK!!!

She is beautiful and she knows it. Again, amazing use of colours and salt, I do love that salt! Also, an interesting mix of the figurative and the abstract.

Yep. I was working on a mixed media piece with watercolours, salt and oil pastels yesterday, and now the tip of my index finger hurts because there were tiny flakes of salt still on the painting (even though I'd cleared the salt away), as I spread the oil pastel on top of the watercolour with my fingers. :/ Totally worth it, though.

You're applying the oil pastel with your finger tips? Cool
I also never get all of the salt from the painting, there are always salt flakes that stay on the paper. Can't wait to see your mixed media piece

Yeah, well, I first draw the shapes and strokes I want with the oil pastel, then I spread it around with my finger tips. It creates really nice effects but can sometimes hurt your fingers! I'm about half way finished with the particular piece, but I can't work on it long at a time.
