Description Happy Easter everyone!

For our current University assignment we have to create an animation. (:
It's a completely new world to me but I'm enjoying every moment of it and I'm learning so much every day it's incredible.
If you want to follow my journey it's best to do it on this tumblr I especially created for this Unit: 'The Letter'

This was one of the first small animation tests I did a few weeks back. I really want to stick to water colour as it creates such a nice effect.

hey this is such a cool choice of technique...I just wonder if you could use layers: in the way that the brown background would stay the same and would not flicker so much still I like this style

I think it's not so well suited for longer animations but there are a few very very nice short ones for which water colours/inks have been used. The ones by Michael Dudok de Wit are very recommendable. (:

When I first saw it I thought she was drinking coffee and you had used coffee also to color it xD

Well, I actually did use coffee to colour it.
I just don't drink coffee myself that's probably why I called it 'Tea Time'...she very well might be drinking coffee instead though.^^

Ja es ist ne ganze Menge Arbeit. Besonders die Planung des Ganzen...selbst die einfachsten Bewegungen wie Tasse anheben, Augen schließen und Schatten bewegen werden auf einmal kompliziert, wenn alles zugleich passiert.:,)
Aber es ist ein tollen GefΓΌhl, wenn man am Ende alles zusammen fΓΌgen kann und es sich bewegt.:3

Da dies nur ein Test war, hab ich mich mit lausigen 12 fps zufrieden gegeben, was aber spΓ€ter garantiert auf 24 erweitert wird. Macht schon nen riesigen Unterschied.

ja ich weiss xD ich hab auch einmal an einer Animation gesessen und hab dann irgendwann aufgegeben weil das dann doch zu viel wurde O_o die Bildanzahl ging dabei schon ziemlich nach unten :v deshalb kann ich mir gut vorstellen was da fΓΌr ne Arbeit hintersteckt
