You could get rid of the fuzz on the left by adjusting brightness/contrast in an image manipulation program

Sigh... unfortunately when I thought we had that last place (the 6 acres) I packed all our software. I figured we wouldn't need it until we moved. And since I'd just had my computer rebuilt I hadn't installed my PSP or PS. I know Gimp is free, but I really hate the idea of having to learn a new graphics program when I already know PSP intimately and a little bit of PS. So... no can do right now.
