Thank you for the lovely compliment. So far I'm not loving UF. Maybe I will as I learn more. So far I've only done the tutorials that come with the program. The difference between UF and Apophysis is huge. Since I learned Apo first, I really enjoy that program... creating fractals from flames that are almost nothing when I start. UF is vastly different... more of a hunt and find type thing that creating something from almost nothing. It will take some getting used to... and Apo might always stay my first love.

Like skiing and snowboarding for me. I can ski fine. I tried snowboarding and just got my butt kicked. I'm sure I would like it if I went through the pain of learning, but why? It's more fun to ski. I totally understand what you mean. I've never even looked at Apo and I did download it, but I'm afraid to do anymore than that.

Yup... I'm not shy about learning new programs... I would just like to find some tutorials that teach something real, well, and that isn't the right thing either. I can't find the words to say what I want to say. You know how there are those tutorial that teach you how to make exactly what they did? And how there are the ones that teach you WHY you are doing something and what the results COULD be rather than teaching you the mechanics? I think that's what I'm meaning. I'm looking for the second kind of tutorial - and they don't seem very easy to find.
Apo? Well, in some ways it's a lot more complicated than UF and in other ways it's not as complicated. I think the terminology is quite different from one program to the other. Apo talks about transforms or triangles and UF talks about formulas. I still haven't gotten it all straight in UF! *grin*

I tried Uf... I hated it.. I like Apo better.. if only I could get it to work the way everyone else does.... *shrug* oh well...

Aww... thank you very much. It's a simple design, but sometimes simple is better. The colors were my doing. I am a color oriented person and I love colors... so I will probably always have a touch of the unusual for colors in my stuff.

lol.. thank you! And sometimes sherbet is as good as ice cream... just depends on how one is feeling at the moment. Sometimes I like a nice, crisp, fruity flavor over a heavier but luscious flavor.
