This is such a fun photograph, I like how the colours 'play' with one another. Especially the yellows and pinks.

Hello,
First time commenter, long time admirer of your work.
I hav a few questions:
1. What kind of camera do you use?
2. Do you use a macro lens/specialty/filters for your photo's?
3. I am assuming that the colors are made by you in post production, so, do you adjust the levels and saturation and such?
Sorry if my questions sound stupid. I'm beginning a photography career, and have been extremley impressed by your work.
Have a happy week,
Andy.

Your questions are not stupid at all, it's he better way to learn
So here are some answers:
1. I'm using a digtal reflex, Nikon D70
2. Yes, a macro lens Sigma 105mm 2.8
3. I made a lot of various experimentations in photoshop, and that's never the same combination... But I have some personal curves adjustements

i love the fuzzy feeling of this photo. the beautiful pinks and yellows sort of wrap me in a blanket and cradle me to sleep you know? it reminds me of beach towels or sunsets over the water.. i dont know, something nice like that though.. this is a gorgeous photo..

Thank you
I have one with more parts in focus, but I prefered the abstractness of this one.
I must be in a tiny DoF period

Abstract photography at it's best. The combination of colors and softness really is a treat to my eyes. Beautiful shot.

You're so great with marcro shots. Your colours always blend together very nicely because of the DoF, and the part that's in focus is very clear and crisp.
What kind of equipt do you use?

Thank you very much for the compliment
I use a Nikon D70 with a Sigma 105mm macro lens since may this year, and before that I was shooting with a Canon G3 and a kit of Hoya additionnal lenses for macro.

Absolutely beautiful capture Love the abstractness and bold colors, and to me it sort of reminds me of a sea anemone

I always suck when it comes to abstract photos and got nothing but respect for those who manage to get a great shot out of something probably generic.
This piece reminds be a lot of the posters that I saw in this seedy lounge bar I've been to a while back that hasn't seen a fresh coat of paint since the seventies when it was set up.
The off white tones here and the colors that are similar to cross processed film really support that.
Glorious piece!

Just a macro of flower with a tiny depth of field, and colors postworked in photoshop

you said the little yellow petals are the focused part... but it's tough to tell. I still like the overall soft focus of it, however.
I want to like... take a bath with this and use it as a scrubby it looks so soft.
