I swear, your photos make me question my sanity. A series could be so similar one after another, yet I start seeing each one in a different way. For this one, I think of protection, like the flowers are acting as shields. The light seems to bounce off of the two flowers out of focus on the right, as if you can see the movement of the light off the flower. I can't see anything past the flowers that they could be protecting, but maybe that means they're doing their job. Or maybe they are protecting their own stems and roots since that is their lifeline.
