Description
This is based on a favorite photo of mine, by one of the coolest photographers here on dA.Used colouring pencils, and took a long time

Yep, colouring pencils are currently my favourite media, because it's much more easier to detail and less messy than paint. I put alot of pressure on the pencil when colouring to get the richness of colours, but I have a tendancy to over-colour some bits so the paper nearly ripped o_O
And I sort of spiced this up with metallic colouring pencils for some of the shiny bits and scraped a baige oil pastel on the skin regions for a little texture (as you can see)

The different colours in the teeth are really gorgeous- they look like pearls

Yeh, the teeth were particularly difficult to colour. I coloured it in serveral layers and scraped it a bit with a white pencil to get that effect. Had to careful though...nearly ripped the paper!
