Very sensual! The textures and colours are absolutely gorgeous, and you've managed to recreate a set of lips that originally, weren't completely perfect, which is a very difficult thing to do! I love it.

I thought the original photo was perfection! I think I like the orangey/peachy colours on the original rather than the red, since it has a softer feel to it. Thank-you for your kind thoughts, very much appreciated

Whereas the composition of the piece is my favorite aspect and that credit must go to the photographer, you've recognized something that definitely made a cool painting. The style that you've done this in really compliments it well. Very nice piece

I hope to become as talented at colored pencils as you someday! And thank you about the comment about my signature! Question though . . . what kind of colored pencils do you use? Anything special . . . expensive? Hahaha
👍: 0 ⏩: 1
Anjali25 In reply to PearlWingz [2008-02-28 10:32:31 +0000 UTC]
hehe, I use "blendable" colouring pencils, they're pretty much normal but better for blending. Also, my mum let me buy some metallic pencils the other day so I could add a little spark to it. Actually, I was addicted to oil pastels before, and that where I learn't how to blend, and I sort of applied that technique to coluring pencils.

Wow that's awesome! I like oil pastels too but I'm not nearly as good hahaha So could one get these blending pencils at just any arts store?
