Backstory:

-Childhood:
Emily was raised alone by her father, she never go outside because her father told her that if someone saw her they will take her away from him.
She was a gentle child so she never asked again.
Despite being locked into the house, Emily doesn't have bad memories of her childhood, she remembers being loved deeply by her father and being happy.

She also remembers the day people broke into the house and arrested her father, she couldn't understand why those people did that. Until the end, her father has a bright smile on his face telling her that it will be alright.
Policemen took her and asked her some questions but she stayed mute... after several hours, Emily saw two people that were asking the policemen.
The woman was in tears and looked at Emily with astonishment, she talked about the policemen and cried again...she was upset and she left with the man that accompanied her.
Emily was too young to understand, in fact, she couldn't understand because she never saw anybody except her father.
The couple was, in fact, the mother and father of Millie who was kidnapped 5 years ago, they believed the police had found her finally but they discovered a child instead, obviously, it was hers....she has the same eyes as her mother. But for Millie's mother, it was too hard, she couldn't take Emily with her, she knew that Emily didn't do anything wrong but her very existence was a reminder of what must have suffered her own daughter!

Emily was sent to a Catholic orphanage. The world outside was strange, she only knew her house. It was really difficult to adapt to this new life.
Emily stayed quiet almost all her childhood. Sometimes she had some attack, she screamed and scratched herself. The doctors were unable to explain what was happening to her. They concluded that it was the stress and the trauma of the past days.

At some point, she even loses appetite because everything she tasted was bland.
She also had very creepy dreams- she heard voices....she felt like someone, or something was following her...all the time.
It was unbearable.
She was diagnosed schizophrenia...and her doctor gave her some medicines but it doesn't work well....

-Adulthood:

Her life was worst and worst each year, Emily didn't even understand how she could still be alive. Every day was a pain.
She wanted to die, she tried to let herself dies.
At this point, she thought that she could only pray....maybe god will be merciful.
There was a little church inside the orphanage and Emily never stepped inside, until that day...
She wished she was alone but there was a girl there, Emily couldn't ignore her when she walked toward her.
She was younger than her obviously, maybe a new young girl- Emily tried to step back but the girl took her hands and smiled to her, she stopped and says out loud: "Oh dear, you are so beautiful !!"
Emily was shocked, that was the first time someone complimented her. She felt somehow very touched- but ...that girl was probably unaware who she was...
She will change soon.
Against all odds, the girl named Sarah became her best friend. She didn't care less about what people said about Emily and Emily was really happy to have Sarah as her first friend.
Emily's state was better, she has less crisis and looked less pale, thanks to Sarah. They would always stick together, they even slept in the same bedroom.

Emily really believed that god was protecting her, after all, she met Sarah in the little church.
Each day, she would pray into the church and thanks to the entity that made her life brighter.

But one day, Emily has a very violent crisis, so violent that she remained unconscious a whole day.
Sarah told her that she started shaking suddenly and then she bled from her nose before fainting on the ground. Emily has no memories of it.
Sarah, in tears, told her that the doctor said she was dead because her heart almost stopped.

After this incident, Emily had a lot of trouble sleeping..again.
And, she thought that she maybe have really died that day because, after this, she saw it again, the things that harassed her into her sleep.
Now, it was here, all the time. She tried to convince herself that it was a side effect of her crisis...but it was not a hallucination obviously.
It was here, no matter what...it doesn't have a body...more like a dark shape with long arms.
She couldn't support it at first and would always scream and cries.
She discovered that it was worst because it knew that she could see him-
It has a big smile on its face and sometimes, even eyes that tried to meet Emily's sight.
It was when she looked in its direction that she could meet its eyes....it was a very painful and horrible vision--
that's why she started to act as if it wasn't here, next to her, all the time... It was almost impossible at first, but after some times she noticed that it was less here.....so she totally ignored its presence.
After some times, it became common, it was not a problem anymore-- she got used to it.
Sadly, her insomnia was worst and her crisis was also numerous.
At some point, she felt like she was going to get crazy- she felt like this thing....she could never live with it, even if she tried to ignore it...
If she couldn't ignore it, ....she could maybe confront it? She was so scared, desperate...she took off the white sheet on the mirror of her bedroom (that she has covered for months) and starred timidly into it. She saw it- she gasped. It turned it's head and put on of its disgusting hand on Emily's shoulder and the with the other hand, with one of its claws, caressed her cheek.
She gasped-- tried not to scream. She closed her eyes and try to stay strong, and she heard. "You can't make me dissapear.."
Emily opened her eyes and looked into the mirror, it was in front of her now, slowly it approached her... "Do I-" she gulped. " scare you "
She shacked in tears. "Good" it took a step back with a large smile on its face. Emily stood up for a moment, she was terrified, she couldn't even breath-
She knew that she couldn't make it leave, it was not a hallucination, no, that was a monster....a demon.
Emily ran to the church and asked the nun in charge of the orphanage to help her. She explained quickly her situation to the nun and begged her to trust her.
She told her that she was possessed by something demonic.

The nun couldn't believe her at first but promised that she will ask the doctor to check her. Emily, disappointed said: "I'm not crazy! I'm not! It's here I swear! Please, trust me I-"... The nun stopped her and told her to calm her that she will think about it.

Emily left the church and goes to her bedroom. [Of course, they wouldn't believe me- she told herself]
There was a quiet period but suddenly Emily's state deteriorated. She would not leave her room, closed curtain, deep dark. She would not even open to Sarah. She was pale, thin....but what shocked the nuns is that she has many scratches on her arms, neck, and belly. They gave her more medication to calm her but it doesn't work. The nuns asked Sarah to keep an eye on Emily.
It was really hard for Sarah to watch her friend in this state, she was spacing out or starring at something .....but Sarah couldn't see anything.
She was like ... unconscious, she would not eat, neither drink, she was lifeless...

Sarah wanted to do something to cheer up her friend and bought some canaries, she knew that Emily loves birds and pets.
She was really happy to see a little shine in her eyes when she heard the canaries- Emily was finally back.

But, the joy was short. Not long after, Sarah was called in urgency. Emily had a crisis and a girl tried to calm her and Emily bites one of the girl's finger so hard that she chopped it off.
Emily was kept locked into her room, alone, to prevent any other incident until the doctor found out why she was acting like that.
Sarah tried to talk with her again but was unable to reach her.

One day, passing by her room, Sarah stopped, she knocked at the door and was surprised to see the door open.
Inside, pitch black darkness...she wandered blindly inside the room and opened the curtain to see the birds' cage open. She looked around and heard a little noise while she stepped on the floor. She gasped when she saw all the canaries on the floor. They were all dead, some were totally mutilated like they have been chew...Sarah tried to left the room but was stopped by Emily who closed the door before her. Sarah looked at her in disbelief. Emily was almost not recognizable. Her blonde hair normally well brush was a mess, her skin was pale and thin, she has on her wrist and neck a lot of scratches and she was breathing heavily as if she was dying....on her white nightdress there were some red dots and Sarah couldn't hold back her tears. She was scared. There was something menacing about Emily. Emily took some step toward Sarah and throw herself into her arms, she hugged her tightly.
Sarah was shaking but she hugged her back and after a long silence she heard Emily voice whispering: "do I scare you-"
She swallowed and pushed her slowly. "Of course not, we are a friend and I will always be here to help you-" Emily stopped her. "You want to help,...me ?"

Sarah nodded innocently with a bright smile. "Friends forever". Emily looked at her and gave her a warm smile ..."I'm so grateful I have you as a friend"

Sarah felt something wet and warm running down her legs. She gasped and took a brief look at it. That was a lot of blood coming from her stomach that has been stabbed with force by a gouge...Sarah coughed again, touching her wounds in shock she fell on the ground and tried to crawl to the door but Emily stopped her. Sarah couldn't even speak, she was in so much pain. Emily was above her with the same bright smile and caressed slowly Sarah's face.

Sarah tried to scream but Emily covered her mouth and whispered: " shhhhhh- it's almost the end don't worry"
Sarah couldn't do anything except crying and begging her, from the tip of her fingers she took a shape of the glass that was from the mirror on their right, that had also fallen with them before. Sarah waved the shape of glass on Emily's face and cut her left eye. Emily stood up and was obviously really upset-
Sarah stood up and almost made it to the door but Emily stabbed her again with the gouge, this time the throat.
Sarah coughed and fell on the floor, her blood splattering the floor. Emily looked at her for a moment and touched her eye that had been injured, it will leave a scar but nothing more. Emily took some step closer to her dead friend and turned her so she could see her face.
The smell of blood was so appetizing and like an animal, she started eating her- it was nothing like eating birds, she knew it, the taste from the last time when she tasted the blood of that girl....human blood was the best.

It took Emily a while, but when she woke up she was covered in blood, next to her, the body....or what remained from a human body. A gruesome scene, the strong smell of blood and the taste of iron inside her mouth. Emily couldn't look at it more and puked.
She was unable to understand what happened- she remembered that she couldn't sleep because of the birds' chirps and that her body was so hot and uncomfortable when suddenly nothing- a blank.
She remembers the voice of Sarah but even if she screamed, she was unable to reach her.

Sarah ?... Emily gulped and she felt tears inside her eyes... [don't...don't tell me--]
She took a look at the pile of meat, hardly human...there was a bracelet around what was looking like a hand... a bracelet that Emily couldn't mistake for another. It was Sarahs. Emily started crying, she screamed. She cursed him. It was all his fault.
Emily stood up and walked with difficulties to the bathroom where she took a scissor.
It showed up, next to her as usual. Emily looked at him with anger in her eyes- He smiled with the same smile he gave to Sarah before he killed her and ate her. Emily, breathing heavily whispered; " why did you do that "
" A friend always taste better than the other"
"....you are a monster"
He smiled.
"I will make you pay"
He smiled again "how?"
Emily took a deep breath and smiled. "If I can't kill you...I can just kill myself" She used the scissor and stab herself but somehow she felt a strong force and against her will her arms throw away the weapon.
"I'm sorry but I can't let you do that"
Emily throw herself at the floor and took the scissor again but whatever she tried to do to harm herself was useless and her body was rejecting the idea of stabbing herself to death obviously-
After multiple attempts, she was just sitting on the floor of her bathroom with a scissor in her hand...that she couldn't even sink into her body.
"I can't let you die, Emily, at least, not yet" he smiled again, caressing her injured cheek with one of his claws.
Emily was powerless. It was hard to resist. It was painful...she just wanted to stop suffering. She wanted to wake up from this nightmare...

Emily cried a lot and Emily gave up. it was pointless to resist obviously. That way, she will not suffer anymore, right? She just wanted to forget what she has done...if only she never met Sarah, she wouldn't have died like this.
The place she was in...was quiet, dark and humid....but somehow she felt safe, she felt relieved, no more responsibilities....she was just lying to herself.

The time passed slowly and she felt like she was going to wake up- she didn't want to leave this place because she knew, that outside.....there would be a slaughter.

She was right. Inside her orphanage, she [he] has killed or amputated many people. Emily couldn't look, it was atrocious, it was her fault, she knew but she couldn't support the idea and keep denying the reality, it was fine for him, she was perfect this way, fragile and easily manipulable.

She slowly gets out the orphanage to enter a little meadow where she heard the sound of the police cars, she kept walking unable to stop, it was not her body anymore....it was his.

One day, on a stroke of madness he kidnapped her. Since then, he kept her locked inside his house.
Some years later, Millie will give birth to Emily who had the same eyes as her mother.
Useless now, Charles will kill Millie because she was a threat to his daughter.

He will be later arrested for the kidnapping and presumed murder of Millie XXXX and other people. His daughter too young to understand was sent to an orphanage since her grandparents didn't want her.

It was discovered that Charles XXXX was a cannibal. Leftovers of human flesh and corpse were found.

Millie was a sweet young woman, she had a lot of dreams and was loved by her friends for her kindness.

She was kept locked in his house for almost 5 years and later gave birth to Emily. She will be killed not long after because she tried to kill her newborn.

"He": He is a creature without a material body. Not a lot is known about him- He can be considered as a low demon (pretty weak if he doesn't find a host which is pretty difficult). He targets weak people that he can easily control. Emily is a great host since as a child she had eaten human flesh.
She was actually the best host he has, that's why he didn't want her to die yet.

+He can talk but can't be heard by others. (which explain why Emily think she has schizophrenia)

Even if David hates most demons and their hosts seeing them as a rival in hunt and always try to kill them as "prize" he doesn't have a problem with Emily's demon since "he" is from a lower class.
despite their entirely different personality and approach of their demon since David completely accepted Alastor while Emily tried to resist when David first saw her he thought she was ridiculous and pitiful a simple prey like many others but he then sense not only the "he" but all the pain she received and committed which greatly interested him .
he then got pretty used to her presence and just like for Alex he never stops talking or making inappropriate jokes to annoy her even though he still doesn't estimate her very high due to her personality and kinda treat her more like a pet than a human saying that he always wanted to have a new pet.

Alex is like a mother figure for Emily, she was scared of her at first because she isn't really the talkative kind neither does Emily. But, Alex uses to pat her head instead of talking and it makes Emily really happy, so much happy that she can't stop her tears.
She quickly became close to her and felt really safe near her. But she is mostly a pet to Alex.

She was pale, thin....but what shocked the nuns is that she has many scratches on her arms, neck, and belly. They gave her more medication to calm her but it doesn't work. The nuns asked Sarah to keep an eye on Emily.
It was really hard for Sarah to watch her friend in this state, she was spacing out or starring at something .....but Sarah couldn't see anything.
She was like ... unconscious, she would not eat, neither drink, she was lifeless...

Sarah wanted to do something to cheer up her friend and bought some canaries, she knew that Emily loves birds and pets.
She was really happy to see a little shine in her eyes when she heard the canaries- Emily was finally back.

But, the joy was short. Not long after, Sarah was called in urgency. Emily had a crisis and a girl tried to calm her and Emily bites one of the girl's finger so hard that she chopped it off.
Emily was kept locked into her room, alone, to prevent any other incident until the doctor found out why she was acting like that.
Sarah tried to talk with her again but was unable to reach her.

One day, passing by her room, Sarah stopped, she knocked at the door and was surprised to see the door open.
Inside, pitch black darkness...she wandered blindly inside the room and opened the curtain to see the birds' cage open. She looked around and heard a little noise while she stepped on the floor. She gasped when she saw all the canaries on the floor. They were all dead, some were totally mutilated like they have been chew...Sarah tried to left the room but was stopped by Emily who closed the door before her. Sarah looked at her in disbelief. Emily was almost not recognizable. Her blonde hair normally well brush was a mess, her skin was pale and thin, she has on her wrist and neck a lot of scratches and she was breathing heavily as if she was dying....on her white nightdress there were some red dots and Sarah couldn't hold back her tears. She was scared. There was something menacing about Emily. Emily took some step toward Sarah and throw herself into her arms, she hugged her tightly.
Sarah was shaking but she hugged her back and after a long silence she heard Emily voice whispering: "do I scare you-"
She swallowed and pushed her slowly. "Of course not, we are a friend and I will always be here to help you-" Emily stopped her. "You want to help,...me ?"

Sarah nodded innocently with a bright smile. "Friends forever". Emily looked at her and gave her a warm smile ..."I'm so grateful I have you as a friend"

Sarah felt something wet and warm running down her legs. She gasped and took a brief look at it. That was a lot of blood coming from her stomach that has been stabbed with force by a gouge...Sarah coughed again, touching her wounds in shock she fell on the ground and tried to crawl to the door but Emily stopped her. Sarah couldn't even speak, she was in so much pain. Emily was above her with the same bright smile and caressed slowly Sarah's face.

Sarah tried to scream but Emily covered her mouth and whispered: " shhhhhh- it's almost the end don't worry"
Sarah couldn't do anything except crying and begging her, from the tip of her fingers she took a shape of the glass that was from the mirror on their right, that had also fallen with them before. Sarah waved the shape of glass on Emily's face and cut her left eye. Emily stood up and was obviously really upset-
Sarah stood up and almost made it to the door but Emily stabbed her again with the gouge, this time the throat.
Sarah coughed and fell on the floor, her blood splattering the floor. Emily looked at her for a moment and touched her eye that had been injured, it will leave a scar but nothing more. Emily took some step closer to her dead friend and turned her so she could see her face.
The smell of blood was so appetizing and like an animal, she started eating her- it was nothing like eating birds, she knew it, the taste from the last time when she tasted the blood of that girl....human blood was the best.

It took Emily a while, but when she woke up she was covered in blood, next to her, the body....or what remained from a human body. A gruesome scene, the strong smell of blood and the taste of iron inside her mouth. Emily couldn't look at it more and puked.
She was unable to understand what happened- she remembered that she couldn't sleep because of the birds' chirps and that her body was so hot and uncomfortable when suddenly nothing- a blank.
She remembers the voice of Sarah but even if she screamed, she was unable to reach her.

Sarah ?... Emily gulped and she felt tears inside her eyes... [don't...don't tell me--]
She took a look at the pile of meat, hardly human...there was a bracelet around what was looking like a hand... a bracelet that Emily couldn't mistake for another. It was Sarahs. Emily started crying, she screamed. She cursed him. It was all his fault.
Emily stood up and walked with difficulties to the bathroom where she took a scissor.
It showed up, next to her as usual. Emily looked at him with anger in her eyes- He smiled with the same smile he gave to Sarah before he killed her and ate her. Emily, breathing heavily whispered; " why did you do that "
" A friend always taste better than the other"
"....you are a monster"
He smiled.
"I will make you pay"
He smiled again "how?"
Emily took a deep breath and smiled. "If I can't kill you...I can just kill myself" She used the scissor and stab herself but somehow she felt a strong force and against her will her arms throw away the weapon.
"I'm sorry but I can't let you do that"
Emily throw herself at the floor and took the scissor again but whatever she tried to do to harm herself was useless and her body was rejecting the idea of stabbing herself to death obviously-
After multiple attempts, she was just sitting on the floor of her bathroom with a scissor in her hand...that she couldn't even sink into her body.
"I can't let you die, Emily, at least, not yet" he smiled again, caressing her injured cheek with one of his claws.
Emily was powerless. It was hard to resist. It was painful...she just wanted to stop suffering. She wanted to wake up from this nightmare...
"stop struggling" "I will free you from your pain" "You will not have to kill anyone anymore" "abandon"

Emily cried a lot and Emily gave up. it was pointless to resist obviously. That way, she will not suffer anymore, right? She just wanted to forget what she has done...if only she never met Sarah, she wouldn't have died like this.
The place she was in...was quiet, dark and humid....but somehow she felt safe, she felt relieved, no more responsibilities....she was just lying to herself.

The time passed slowly and she felt like she was going to wake up- she didn't want to leave this place because she knew, that outside.....there would be a slaughter.

She was right. Inside her orphanage, she [he] has killed or amputated many people. Emily couldn't look, it was atrocious, it was her fault, she knew but she couldn't support the idea and keep denying the reality, it was fine for him, she was perfect this way, fragile and easily manipulable.

She slowly gets out the orphanage to enter a little meadow where she heard the sound of the police cars, she kept walking unable to stop, it was not her body anymore....it was his.

He felt like his life was meaningless until he met her, Millie a cheerful girl with heterochromia.

One day, on a stroke of madness he kidnapped her. Since then, he kept her locked inside his house.
Some years later, Millie will give birth to Emily who had the same eyes as her mother.
Useless now, Charles will kill Millie because she was a threat to his daughter.

He will be later arrested for the kidnapping and presumed murder of Millie XXXX and other people. His daughter too young to understand was sent to an orphanage since her grandparents didn't want her.

It was discovered that Charles XXXX was a cannibal. Leftovers of human flesh and corpse were found.

Millie was a sweet young woman, she had a lot of dreams and was loved by her friends for her kindness.

She was kept locked in his house for almost 5 years and later gave birth to Emily. She will be killed not long after because she tried to kill her newborn.

"He": He is a creature without a material body. Not a lot is known about him- He can be considered as a low demon (pretty weak if he doesn't find a host which is pretty difficult). He targets weak people that he can easily control. Emily is a great host since as a child she had eaten human flesh.
She was actually the best host he has, that's why he didn't want her to die yet.

+He can talk but can't be heard by others. (which explain why Emily think she has schizophrenia)

Even if David hates most demons and their hosts seeing them as a rival in hunt and always try to kill them as "prize" he doesn't have a problem with Emily's demon since "he" is from a lower class.
despite their entirely different personality and approach of their demon since David completely accepted Alastor while Emily tried to resist when David first saw her he thought she was ridiculous and pitiful a simple prey like many others but he then sense not only the "he" but all the pain she received and committed which greatly interested him .
he then got pretty used to her presence and just like for Alex he never stops talking or making inappropriate jokes to annoy her even though he still doesn't estimate her very high due to her personality and kinda treat her more like a pet than a human saying that he always wanted to have a new pet.

Alex is like a mother figure for Emily, she was scared of her at first because she isn't really the talkative kind neither does Emily. But, Alex uses to pat her head instead of talking and it makes Emily really happy, so much happy that she can't stop her tears.
She quickly became close to her and felt really safe near her. But she is mostly a pet to Alex.
