I had a commission to do an Optimus Prime and I thought I would use it as an oportunity to show step by step how I did all this messy wanna be artist stuff.

Here is step four: Finishing

This is the area where you really shine. Take some time. Even step away from the art after step 3. I do. I really view each piece as my shot and if I miss then I need to find where to improve. If I hit it, I want to hit it as hard as I can in the circumstance. I hope I did that here. Breaking out some markers and trying my best at some hatching with deep shadows I wanted Prime to look ready to rumble.

I see things to fix in this final piece. I am sure you do also. More then that I hope these four steps of how I laidout, penciled, inked and finished the great Optimus Prime helped get your mind going and ready to create some of your own art. I am no expert, but I refuse not to make what I know available to other tallented artists out there who may share the same passion as me.
