Behind The Mask...Are no such people who would always speak the truth. Some people lie to their advantage, they hypocrites. Others lie, not to cause inconvenience to others. They will not talk about their problems and feelings ... it is not interesting. There are also those who are afraid to open their tender and vulnerable soul. Much easier to hide all your emotions in standard mask of "all right", but people can be quite different.

While I was drawing this I was listening Jesper Kyd β Tour Of Venice.. (and a variety of music from Assassin's Creed.)

Whoa, so many details! The shading is also nice and smooth.
Proactive lying is a sign of a weak person, who cannot face their vulnerabilities so they must use others to feel better. Reactive lying is a sign of a person who protects themselves from those proactive liars. Some people just lie to themselves as much as they lie to others. Lies are the mask.

something about this piece Β speaks to me, because I've been dealing with the idea of searching for truth among so much hypocrisy around lately, this piece really reflects that in a good way, I've always had a fascination with the concept of "masks" as well. very nice work, i love the intricacy and detail put into every aspect of the piece.
