I was actually going to make a jab at the abridged series in my current fanfic project, "Anniversary Mayhem," since I didn't really care for the "we're not related so it's not creepy" thing. The scene I had in mind was that Pinkie Pie was going over the food she was going to help make for Shining Armor and Cadance's first anniversary party (the main plot is the mane six helping the two throw a party for that). She mentions corndogs, and Shining says something along the lines of, "Ugh. I HATE corndogs, especially after the incident with Cousin Francis..."
