Damn it GIMP, don't tell ppl what to do!
I use MS Paint. ; 7 ; But I bring together frames an animate in GIMP.Just started using SAI but Idk know how to remove bgs in it?? And doing it in GIMP still leaves weird AA'd pixels. D:
S'frustratingg. And then you dont really want to make anymore cause you're discouraged. Im usually an really active a couple weeks an then dont post for months. ; 7 ; But Im also lazy an unmotivated so!

I tried to use SAI for a while but it confused the crap out of me, so I use Gimp. I'm not sure what AA'd pixels are though X:
Try using just GIMP to draw and make sure you have alpha layers on when you start. I say this because I was doing the same thing, starting in MS Paint and then animating in GIMP but it ended up giving me these weird pixels that are different colors, like thisΒ jadesketch.deviantart.com/art/β¦ (look at the balloon, it shows a lot there)
My friend uses MS Paint a lot though, so if you really want to use it you may be able to get some tips from her. Her DA is thetauche Β maybe she can help? c:

AA is anti-aliasing(www.youtube.com/watch?v=hqi011β¦ , its basically the word for when you make a line in gimp or sai and there is different shades of gray around it to make it appear smoother.
MS Paint changes your colors when you save an image as JPEG or JPG, you have to save as PNG and it won't do that. I already use Ms Paint. ;D Everything in my gallery was made in Paint unless otherwise stated.

I'll remember that if I use MSP again, but I probably wont :/ Β it's simpler to use the pencil in GIMP to make my pixel stuff imo but it's nice to know why MSP was screwing with me xD Β
