the little facets & tiny worlds that make up our whole -
as individuals? as a society?
each catches the light a little differently...

oh that's a beautiful association!
...
while me feenk on: omg if that were so! if that were so!
we all catch the light
bit differently
then can talk with each other
about it...
...
as is seems we catch shadows too
from without from within
and easily misunderstand
each others wounds
or similar... hmm...
i like your association very much!

thank you for visit kind comment my friend
... these are really made
by beaders
often in color patterns
and there are various ways to do it
... in 3d too

Wow! You did it, Anna!
I can't believe you actually took the time to arrange them all by hand! Must have taken hours to finish! But it was definitely worth the effort 'cos it looks really amazing!
It looks so real, with the reflections and refractions in every bead.
If you experiment with particle systems you can probably do it much faster and with many different types of bead shapes. All you have to do is create a particle system using the smaller beads as the particle objects and the large bead as the particle emitter. This will make the small beads appear from the surface of the large bead. If you set the velocity of the particles to zero, then they will remain static or 'frozen' on the surface of the emitter- the large bead.
This is just the general idea of how it works, the actual implementation differs from application to application. I'm sure whatever 3d application you use will have a way of achieving this.
I hope we'll be seeing more of you virtual beads soon, they really make good use of 3d geometry!

see... was longer message thus took me this while to answer
and we have all time of art-life...
slow progress too...
you know, this one i did with a kind of automatic multiplication of the small bead form plus placement along the vertexes of a sphere
it's not really a particle system i guess... never tried that but surely will at some point...
then arranged them bit better by hand
and did not finish that completely
wanted see how was
and was fine for demonstration for a start....
and i thank you very much for your advice and opinion!
you always help me, inspire me...
now sliding into learning more about spherical mapping
and bit more about space too
it's a kind of virtual world, of dream really
where spheres are prominent
anna stays with spheres
die Kugel (sphere)
die SphΓ€re (sphere in the sense of realm)
wish you enjoyable fine mid week!

(Thought I'd replied this message, guess it didn't deliver. Probably because I replied from a mobile device and not a computer)
This method you described sounds similar to the "scatter object" in 3ds max. There are many different ways of achieving the same goal, as with any other aspect of art. That's what makes 3d art so exciting. You can approach the "puzzle" from any angle, and you always learn something new with each different angle you take. The particle method isn't much different from this. You also set the particles to align to the vertices of the larger sphere.
I have no doubt you'll come up with your own unique method after some experimentation -- which happens to be something you're good at!
Have a great weekend, Anna!

sometimes feel how process defines outcome
at least partially
that's what makes it so interesting, thrilling
to invent, find new process...
and agree with all you say here, incognisance, as do most time
(to think of it i cannot remember having ever disagreed with any of your comments internally
and often they shove me ahead )
right now still beading xmas decoration
and found some people (in church) that need for xmas market
so... more pull from outside
means do bit more...
and also thinking of new pendants in 3d
which leaves us all possibilities
find pearls that never "existed" etc
combine them to new shine...
as stock...
will see how far get
der Prozess (process, as well as lawsuit)
die Kombination (combination)
die Perle (bead, pearl)
wish you good inspiring new week!

hmm

Is true..
Trained my eyes or mind
hmm.. I would say I like more of 3D then photography
though I could never learn it..
but is true for your Artwork
I feel your 3D Arts similar to reality
as in case of a picture

Beads have a feeling. And it feels like something hidden deep inside. Maybe the texture has a sensuality to it. My impression is something is born from this. It is the seeds of life perhaps. Of course that is my impression. It is my 'beholder's share'.

you know what,
the small beads
with which women (it's mostly women interestingly)
bead beads
are called
"seed-beads"
yes, beads and pendants
are very "haptic"
and there is a sense of time
in beading... a rhythm too
and so on
... a going into now
remain slow (if i can)
today i noted some thoughts on
beading...
ey, we can make a "world-view"
of anything... at least seems i can
"beholder's share"

thank you... it's bit of a strange one...
this trip back to 3d feels kind of peculiar
almost surprising even when is so "logical"
i'm aware of my very spiteful composition...
is always more or less the same
transfixed
decent invitation to vortex
... today i painted some clay beads
first time
get them weekend
will see what they do
clay is a mystery... ...
(to me )

clay is very ancient it carries a lot of symbolic weight... ceramics etc. I remember one of my sculpture proffessors made it a point to research the material we were using to get at it from a historic perspective. hmmm maybe you are making ancient game sets ???

AnnaPaar In reply to WukashGrochocki [2012-10-01 18:27:37 +0000 UTC]
that sounds very fine to me
ey, you would have easily guessed
i saw some pictures of ancient game sets made of clay
egyptian... you would have liked too...
and yes materials... mind boggling right now
is this being warped
between glass clay stone beads ( stone since ever seems)
and 3d textures blah and blah and oh my blah...
wish you good day afternoon!

yes, can see that...
and for some reason
"labyrinth"
crosses my mind, floats mean
clay labyrinth...
then wool...
hmm...
would like an emoticon for "puzzled without worries" or
plus
is musing out unknown terrain...
which is the point ... as what we're musing,
riddling about is always
unknown

yes...
tales are made out of overcome adversities
... pure adversity is forgotten same as pure smooth, seems...
and silenced, hidden a bit...
seems there are always dark parts
hidden parts of a whole or a cycle
...
and it's somehow these hidden
we need see... bring to light
maybe to become
more lively... (again need the musing-emoticon!)
!

this one is going to be text/image describing the 7 mythic worlds in my mythology. So there will be a general chart or map of the locations of these realms in relationship to each other. Than there will be an image portraying the realm like one is mountains than there will be text describing this realm and maybe the type of beings that dwell there.
