Did you ever have a pet parakeet?
We named the one Dare because he was a daredevil, lol. He had such spunk! He would literally fly at people's heads just to mess with them. Which I thought was funny at the time, but looking back I probably should have been more sensitive to my friends and kept him in his cage when they were over.

Yes, I had two parakeets) My parents bought me them when I was five. Green and blue, like these two on the picture)
I remember how they managed to find out how to open their cage one day. We found them hanging on curtains just under the ceiling, pecking fabric and pulling out threads. Since that moment it was an imposible thing to lock them up with a standart latch) Our parakeets just adored to peck fabric and papers. I think it was their only aim when they were escaping their cage every time: to peck something and litter)
