So, here I am, reading Drizzt's book and I thought: "How would he look if someone were to draw him?! Hm... That awesome person from deviantart has some wonderful drawings of elves, let me go look through their gallery!"
... and LOOK WHAT I FIND! 
So yes, I was trying to picture Drizzt and you came to mind.

Technically, Drizzt witnessed his first dawn after the drow raid on the wood elf enclave, but at least the second time around he truly got to cherish the experience.

I think the raw speedpaint works best here at conveying the emotion. The sense of simple wonder is palpable.
