This is me and B hanging out on the back porch while I trim my Plumeria Bonsai Tree. she is enjoying the warm sun and the scent of the flowers.

when I first saw the Challenge Of The Week I was really excited because I would be able to draw a really pretty scene. Then a Simple fact struck me, B is blind.
I needed to create a scene that was simple but engaged the senses B did have. I think I have done that.

Sound: me. I am talking to B, telling her stories, telling her how things are going, all while rhythmicly trimming the bonsai.
Smell: the rich scent of the flowers, the smell of warm wood, water and leaves.
Touch: the warm sun on her skin, the cool water, the rough rocks, the soft fabric of her beach chair.
Taste: the occasional berry or nut if she gets hungry.not depicted
