Who wants this... don't they get enough from us now.. No they want to block us from viewing and make us pay to see... They Suck.. read this..... Free to download and put on your siteStaying ConnectedA call to action for my USA friends.
Net Neutrality is again under assault in the US and the future of the internet here as we know it is being threatened.
To encapsulate: Large corporate ISP companies want to have more control over how much data you can receive send, blocking of specific content, intentional speed slow-downs among many other things.
Google has been proactive in attempting to get users to respond to the FCC over this matter.
If you have done nothing, I ask that you please do something now.
If these changes go into affect, your internet world will become a choked down version of television. Is that what we want?
Keep the internet open.
Short version:
Go to this site: https://www.fcc.gov/ecfs/search/proceedings?q=name
It will allow you to write directly to the FCC so you can voice your concerns and wishes:
Click on the "Express" option, fill out the form and tell them what you think.

I sense someone who doesn't quite grasp the issue.
Censorship is something all ISPs do, without exception. Some of the reasons are sound (e.g. stopping child porn), some of the reasons aren't so sound (e.g. blocking competitors' services).
Net neutrality, though related to censorship, is different. It's about extortion.
The best thing you can do, other than notifying your relevant politicians, is switch to an ISP that supports net neutrality. They do exist, they're usually pretty small and have good customer service and prices. They just don't advertise as much as the big name brands so you have to hunt around for them a little.
