Description This is the 2nd big cat that I have painted and so enjoyed it. It is 8x10 done with Prismacolor colored pencils on 110 lb. paper.

Members of the family have commented on my scruffy bunch of cats,that I should take more time over them and pay more atention to the details. Looking at the quality of work on some of the sites I can see their piont of view.

Your cats are very nice. All cats are furry and have hairs sticking out, especially long haired cats. Do what you feel in your heart, not what others think you should do. With each new piece will come improvement.

Oh my. That is amazing. Everything.

I really, really want to draw with my pencils now, but they're at home and I'm not going there till August 20th. D: Oh well... I'm sure I'll be inspired by this again when I have my pencils nearby! By the way, is this a scan or a photo? It looks so perfect compared to my traditional art uploads.

Hi there, thanks. I am glad that you like it. I hope that you get to use your pencils again real soon. Re. the photo. I usually scan 8x10 and take a picture of the larger paintings.

I did a couple of airplanes as a commission one year but just didn't get the feeling that I get when I do an animal. No life to them..... I guess everyone has their own niche and has a passive for different things.
