Description
8x10 on Mi-Teintes gray colored paper. Using Prismacolor colored pencils.Black is not just black so I used a variety of different colors to produce this.
I love the blase' look on his face and the spit on the bottom of the ball.

What a great compliment, thanks a lot. I never really keep track of how long it takes me. A few days maybe, a week???? Of course that is only working on it a few hours a day. Colored pencil is a slow medium but I have been at it for a while and I am fsster than I used to be.

What paints did you use for this?

This is done with colored pencils. I call it a wax painting because I think that it is more than a drawing. I add lots of layers and do lots of blending to create a painterly effect which is something you don't have with a mere drawing.
