Black Lab with Ball

Description
8x10 on Mi-Teintes gray colored paper. Using Prismacolor colored pencils.Black is not just black so I used a variety of different colors to produce this.
I love the blase' look on his face and the spit on the bottom of the ball.

I have three labs. One is a female, named Savannah (black lab). The other two are males. Rich (black lab) and Randy (yellow lab). I love them all so much, and they are wonderful as well. I hope your Buddy is doing well.

Yes! Randy especially loves tennis balls... he's so hyper! Rich prefers squeaky toys, though. He keeps us up all night playing with them!

I have Prismacolor colored pencils but never understand about shading or anything, as it looks different from original colored pencils.
Anywho, this is so beautiful drawing. You make it so professional and looks real. I love labs, and they are beautiful and good-trained breeds.

I prefer Prismacolor pencils because they are soft ans waxy and so easy to blend together to get the shading and texture that you desire. It does take lots of practice though. You grow with each new piece that you do. Keep trying and you'll get it.
