It was something I wanted to put into the comic, but didn't in order to try to keep the first chapter under 20 pages. I thought about having Madt lead the two of them the wrong way through the tree, and them encountering some kind of monster. I ditched the idea later on. I would like to use the expression/body language of Madt on the bottom sketch, though. Not too sure if I'm happy with out Kuja came out in either of them.

I don't know anything about FF - I looked at these last four submissions and I'm not sure what's going on. I guess i'll say good sketch work, because it is. But that's all I can put in really. ^_^

rtil, you really need to get your hands on some Final Fantasy games. The ones I recommend are FF6, FF7, FF9, FF10 and FFTactics. The comic I'm doing is based off FF9, which is probably the most amusing and funny out of all the Final Fantasy series.

I'm glad you didn't recommend FFX-2, because i've seen people play it, and it sort of looks like blatant fanservice to me. Pop singers saving the world? Eh..

You're right... Her expression is awesome on that bottom pannel... Kuja's...errrr, I think he should be more efeminate...

Probably right...but at the same time, you can't see his makeup. While he's at the bottom of the tree, he's a little messy. He gets more effeminite after bathing/re-applying makeup. I try not to forget that Kuja is in fact a man, even though he has girly hips and tummy.

Girly hips and tummy????... Really? hehehe... well... I don't remember enough of the FFIX to contradict you on this so I'll take you word on that.... I do remember the make-up though (and clothing)...LOL it would be funny if you were to draw him with his make-up all messed up and running when he get up the tree...
