Even though this is an older image and my Vasquez cosplay has been improved in some ways, this image Jeff Zoet Visuals created of my Vasquez cosplay left me absolutely speechless when I saw it the first time and still does. I AM Vasquez here. I AM engaging the xenomorphs on LV-426 with my M56 Smartgun. I'm not supposed to be firing, but what choice do I have?! My party is getting taken out one by one by these things. Shit has gotten real and I am doing what all my training has taught me to do: kill the enemy. When I see this picture, I see the film. I see one of my first female action heroes. And she is me. Thank you for this, Jeff. I'm more in love with this than I thought I could be. 🖤
