So i wanted to use this re-uploaded image as a way to kinda word how i feel about this whole thing.

I'm personally disgusted with the way this current update is being handled.
I've been on DA for a while ((since 2008 actually)) and i have never seen such an outcry of the members for something to be stopped as much as this.

Yes, with every update there was there was backlash, people don't like change, its just how it is.
But while people protested those a lot, now i see status post and journals one after the other of people who are going to leave to Tumblr, Twitter or Instagram.

There are petitions after petitions, chain pictures, journal protests, for this to stop, and from what i gathered, DA has been ignoring it all. And acting like its all fine.

I don't want to support this update, but i don't want to leave either.
Lowkey i'm hoping that DA may change their minds and give us the old layout. Or an updated version of that old layout.

But for now, i won't be getting a core.
I won't use their point system.
And i won't go for any badges, llama's or anything else.

Please safe and re-upload if you are against this well.

List of things that bother me;

- No more personlized gallery buttons
- Giant blurry header at the top of your profile
- No direct link to submission ((or journals- or status posts))
- Friends list is nowhere to be seen on your screen
- Costumization is gone ((my coding from my bio literally turned to gibberish in their new bio))
- Status posts are to be viewed by any random stranger
- Thumbnails are way to big
- Infinate scrolling slows down computers
- Bio pictures or costum boxes are now cut of and you have to click "show more"
- Customization for galleries is gone
- The giant sizing of your art- making it all blurry. why even have the option of "make it 900x" or lower when it will look like shit

The Sound Of Silence - DA StatementSo Eclipse is Coming
I'd like to organize a proactive event to show DA the possible results of a permanent Eclipse change-over. Instead of deactivating your accounts for good, or indefinitely boycotting the site, I'd like to make a Statement of Silence for those Users against Eclipse. Starting May 1st, I will not be active on Deviantart. I will not submit new deviations, journals or even visit the site for 3 Days time. From 12:00AM CST May 1st to 12:00am May 4th. (3 days) I ask all other Users who wish to keep old Deviantart to join me in this statement of silence.
Not Only Is Eclipse Difficult to Navigate, It is so close to Plagiarism it isnt funny. How they aren't in a Lawsuit with Artstation is beyond me!
