I'm going through Dev.art looking for inspiration to my fanfic story. To find the places that aren't told or shown in the original show and you are an unending source of amazement. You bring life all the places I have had in mind. I can stare your work for a long time and just look for all the life in them.
Thank you for the inspiration you have brought to me. This picture brings back a scene from my childhood that is perfect for the story ^^ (Though the bridge was really old wood that could crack and drop you to the canal but it was a beautiful place.)

This is pretty, all of it, and my favorite are the trees in the background, and the bridge, but I think the water coming down could be more realistic looking; only my opinion though, and this is great!

I had to Google that Simon! I can see the similarity, but I didn't use a reference for this painting....although I could have used that place if I had known of it. I will save an image of it for another painting as it looks lovely!

Check out:
1: the negative space of the bridge arch which creates the mushroom top or cap, (the space under the arch),
2: the main central "water fall creates the stem of the mushroom,
3: the smaller waterfalls are the spores being dropped...
Works quite well as a bridge too... Peter.

I like the detail on the stone bridge, as well as the small waterfall and lake. Hmm... roll on warmer weather, please.
