This is not only a very well done drawing but the young woman has an amazing intensity of expression. Did you study art in school? My best, WWL

Gorgeous drawing. Thank you for sharing this excellent work! Would you consider selling this piece, or accepting a commission for a similar drawing of Daisy Ridley as Rei?

Aw, you're welcome, I'm so glad you like it! I'm not selling it.. for now (I'm planning on doing a Star Wars exhibition, and I'll be selling my drawings then), but yes, I'm accepting commissions. I never draw the same picture twice, but any other picture of her that I haven't drawn yet is fine! (:Β

Absolutely stunning work, I really love your blending technique!Β Β I hope it's okay if I ask, how do you make the skin look so smooth?Β Do you use a very fine form of hatching or do you have any blending tools?

Thank you so much! <3 Of course! Maybe the answer isn't what you're expecting, but I use tissues to blend. (:Β

Haha I did know there are hundreds of different ways to blend, but I would've never guessed that tissue could have this effect Thanks a lot, I have to give it a shot ext time!

Your work is mystical to me. I'm confounded by how you managed to make your drawing look just like her. You're kind of like the Rembrandt of pencil drawings: all of your strokes are smooth and blended. It's so much so that it has photographic qualities. How I admire your skill and hope that one day I can do what you can do. Wow!

That's probably the sweetest thing anyone has ever said about my work, so thank you from the bottom of my heart. X
I've been drawing for so long and I remember looking at some amazing artists on DeviantArt and thinking: "I'll never be that good. My drawings will never look that realistic." But after all these years they've started to look more and more like photos, and that was my goal. I just never thought I would actually get there. So that only goes to show that with practice and patience you can achieve almost anything you set your mind to. (:Β
