me and *BoltsBiggestFanEVER were talking about how much TV sucks nowadays...and then I remembered the good old days...the days where I could turn on the TV and laugh at any episode of Spongebob.but now...the new episodes are so annoying and unfunny that I'd rather watch Nick Jr. Seriously I don't understand why they keep going. They are just dry out of ideas. I'm sick of turning on the TV and seeing commercials about yet ANOTHER new set of episodes. Why can't they just do reruns of the old ones? the only reruns I've ever seen are the ones that are kind of new and are not NEARLY as entertaining as the older episodes.
anyway, I just thought I'd make this stamp for anyone out there who agrees with me.

I have Netflix, so I couldn't watch any new episodes even if I wanted to. However, I really do agree. The old Spongebob was funny and original. It was just a nice cartoon everyone could watch and really laugh at (I watch Spongebob with my dad- and we always laugh at the old ones the most). Now they have this whiny wierdo. There's also a lack of characters! When was the last time you saw Larry? Or Sandy?
Pardon my rant but I really feel strongly about this.

In my thought Nickelodeon only does money out of Spongebob. Also they use quantity over quality and that's a problem when it comes to Spongebob. It burdens me that the writers change Spongebob's personality from a naive nice Spongento a jackass annoying critter. When I meant annoying I meant the Fred from youtube.

T.v. sucks nowadays and the only show that it's worth to watch is Legend of Korra and My Little Pony FIM. Those shows have good plots, interesting characters that you love and adore, and the reason why I still own a T.V. I would love to see MLP FIM rub on new sucky Spongebob shows. Spongebob needs to die because those writers are running out of drug- er I mean ideas to crate a new eps. Also Spongebob right now is bad influence to kids. But it would be sad that Spongebob would end, but the new eps was forgettable. The only thing I know about the new Spongebob is...

That's comparing apples and oranges. They are not even in the same category. They have totally different appeals and you can like them both. MLP:FiM gives me something new to watch, but it is not classic SpongeBob's spiritual successor. It is probably moreso The Powerpuff Girls' successor.
Nothing on Nick or Cartoon Network quite has that same humor as SBSP. Not even Adventure Time or Regular Show.
I just absolutely dread the eventual downfall of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. I hope they can just do a couple more seasons, maybe a theatrical movie if they can pull it off, and then kill off the show before the show itself (not the fanbase) becomes no longer dignified.

What I don't get is that people say that the later Rugrats eps were awful and some even say that it went downhill, even more than Spongebob, I fail to see why, did the Rugrats suffer severe unneccessary flanderization?!

Rugrats was the closest thing we had to a MLP:FiM in the 90's, even though the world that it took place in was much smaller. Also, replying to the person who said that MLP:FiM cured them from SpongeBob, that's comparing apples and oranges. They are not even in the same category. very very true. I can't find any interesting cartoons anymore. although I do like Adventure Time a lot too.
yeah I'm just so sick of these crappy Spongebob episodes. they influence more stupidity and just...gross crap that kids should not see. they just are NOT good anymore. it is sad for it to end, but I think they have no choice, because each episode just gets worse and worse. I can tell that they are absolutely out of ideas.

I still remember those old Spongebob shows. Like the Chocolate guy and Doodle Spongebob eps. Spongebob almost died after the movie when it was released in 2004. 2005-2007 Is when Spongebob went downhill a little. Then it went worse until it hit ROCK BOTTOM!

its not that they ran out of ideas, the thing is the writers that made the original series were ALL fired and replaced with talentless hacks.
