me and *BoltsBiggestFanEVER were talking about how much TV sucks nowadays...and then I remembered the good old days...the days where I could turn on the TV and laugh at any episode of Spongebob.but now...the new episodes are so annoying and unfunny that I'd rather watch Nick Jr. Seriously I don't understand why they keep going. They are just dry out of ideas. I'm sick of turning on the TV and seeing commercials about yet ANOTHER new set of episodes. Why can't they just do reruns of the old ones? the only reruns I've ever seen are the ones that are kind of new and are not NEARLY as entertaining as the older episodes.
anyway, I just thought I'd make this stamp for anyone out there who agrees with me.

I saw sponge out of water and it was actually pretty good! They used references from older episodes! In the credits, they showed squidward doing his wiggle dance!!!! That dance from his talent show

you know, i f kinda feel bad for the writers, because nick yells at them "MAKE IT FUNNY, NOW!" and i guess they´re trying too hard. they are also guided by this command: "WE NEED SOMETHING FRESH, NOW!" i guess, the writers or nick are thinking, if they wouldn´t make spongebob more "intense", then we wouldn´t watch it anymore.
i guess it´s a bit our fault too, that the episodes are now not that good anymore.

I agree but I respect others opinions but I do think the older episodes are better they are more funny and spongebob was more mature. but that's just my opinion

They not only lack in comedy, but bastardize the characters, and put them into cruel situations. One example; One Course Meal.

Actually, I must say, some parts of the new episodes are kinda funny. -but only a few clips, the new episodes are unfunny and alot of them GROSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And they keep making more of the new ones! WTH

Ok, that is EXACTLY how I feel. I can't say that the new episodes are 100% terrible, some parts ARE a bit funny, but most episodes are disturbing and scary, like Fungus among us, The splinter, To love a Patty etc.... I mean, when there's nothing else on, I have to watch the new eppisodes -UGH- just so I can find things that would NEVER, EVER, EVER happen in the old episodes.

I hate new Spongebob as well. Not only is it annoying, but in a few episodes like House Fancy and The Splinter, it was just scary and gruesome. They made me cry because of it! A few new Spongebob episodes that sucked are Krusty Dogs, A Pal for Gary, Face Freeze, Best Day Ever, House Fancy, The Splinter, Slide Whistle Stooges, The Blackened Sponge, Karate Island, Funny Pants, To Love a Patty <-------(BTW, this episode is just sickening!) Greasy Buffoons, Day Without Tears, The Krusty Sponge, and a whole lot of others. I could go on but I don't want to to bore you. BTW, I added this to my favorites. R.I.P. Old Spongebob 1999-2004.

I'm sorry, but aren't you mentioning a lot of old episodes here? Karate Island, Funny Pants, To Love a Patty and Krusty Sponge I remembered from some old seasons, and even are quite funny.

I have a question what is wrong with House Fancy i went through all the scenes i could remember and i couldn't find anything wrong! (the eyebrow? IDK)

Well, the toenail scene was a little too greusome for me. It just... grossed me out for some odd reason. I like gore but the toenail scene is just... *shudders* IDK. I just didn't like it.

I remember when I was little, I used to LOVE spongebob. I watched those episodes for HOURS AND LAUGHED!
But now, when I channel surf, I see the new episodes and they SUCK!
