I've never gotten around to doing the shading on this one, although I still like the base sketch (even if the perspective on Harry is a bit odd) and I'm liking the way the water came out. I think I just have such high hopes for the mermaid's scales that I'm afraid to actually attempt it. Anyway, this is one of my few illustrations of an actual scene in one of the books - Harry saving Ron and Gabrielle in the second task.Related content
