Striker of the Dimension Pirates, Gideon is a Wraith and a trickster. Wanted in thousands of dimensions by criminal organizations and law enforcement, he and the D-Pirates commit a wide array of crimes regularly, from looting to sieges. Despite this, he and the crew treat each other like a family, complete with bickering and reconciliations.
Gideon was infamous for stealing the souls and life-force of his victims through trickery and manipulation in his home dimension. He was eventually discovered and banished to a dead zone by three powerful witches, where all vanquished demons and spirits are sent to. While trapped in the realm, he met a shadow being on the brink of nonexistence and allowed him to bond with his essence to become a part of him in the form of his shadow. Together they scavenged the dead realm, consuming various souls and gaining powers, until an opportunity presented itself; the arrival of the D-Pirates. Gideon managed to hide within the ship by possessing it and gradually began to manipulate it in a variety of ways. After being discovered he then opted to become the new captain and replaced Drake, but relinquished the position after being tricked by Drake and losing to him in a board game.
Nowadays he is one of the most notorious criminals in several dimensions and the group is the most infamous pirates in most dimensions. He and the crew are constantly being pursued by the Interdimensional Patrol Force, and the two teams have constantly faced off against each other.
Gideon is a wraith, an incorporeal evil spirit from the netherworld - distinct from demons - that drains the life energy of mortals in order to sustain their existence and may be able to steal souls as well. Typically wraiths appear as shadowy forms wrapped in robes or cloaks, or simply vague shadows, but this isn't always the case.
Unlike the psychopomp beings like the Death Spirits and Shinigami , which their main task is to escort spirits to the afterlife in order to be judged, Wraiths tend to do the opposite, since they technically absorb souls to quench their hunger, and/or to remain in existence depending on the deviating depictions.
Animated Shadow: The user can transform their shadow into living beings. As the rule of anything happening to the real body happens to the shadow, this ability may allow the user to manipulate the shadow and cause damage in reality by using it to attack. This means anything that happens to the shadow will be reflected in the true body; in short, a form of "reverse" shadow puppetry.

Combat Merging: Users who have supernatural powers/abilities can learn to infuse their combat styles with them.
They can developed a vagabond form of combat, picking up moves if travelled around the world and adapt those techniques to their own personal style. They can chain together a series of strikes and attacks in rapid succession on opponents, giving them little time to recover.
Crime Mastery: The user is a criminal mastermind who is masterful on all sorts of crimes from theft, bootlegging, murder, racketeering, terrorism, extortion, smuggling, money laundering, and so on and so forth. They expertly know how to do anything that's illegal and what to do in order to successfully and safely get away with it.
Dark Element Manipulation: User can create, shape and manipulate the elements of a darker, detrimental nature; that which damages, destroys, and consumes anything/everything they come across, representing the hazardous and destructive side of nature, which in turn ignores most of the limitations and weaknesses of the normal elements. In essence, this is about solely controlling the negative powers of nature itself.
Death-Force Arts: The user can utilize the Death-Force Arts, a specialized system of techniques based around necrotic power. Death-Force is a defining feature of mortality; it acts as the energetic catalyst that governs phenomena such as decay, degradation and ultimately, death. It also connects one to the realms of the dead and their inhabitants. While magic can be a source of control for this power, it is not a necessity. What matters is that, through specialized training, one gains a unique insight into death-force to learn and manifest supernatural abilities and skills. While being capable of manipulating death is an understandable skill, one can also wield death-force for other abilities, such as specialized combat techniques, personal enhancement and even altering the laws governing mortality.
Enhanced Condition: User's physical and mental abilities are above the peak human levels of other beings in their universe. This entails that they are faster, stronger, more intelligent and overall superior to beings at peak human level (in that verse), but not to supernatural levels .
- Type II: One of the greatest minds in their world, strong enough to lift heavy vehicles and punch through steel, fast enough to move at subsonic speeds, agile enough to leap over small buildings and dodge supersonic attacks, durable enough to withstand bullets, grenades and low-to-medium explosives.
Hatred Inducement: The user can cause hatred into others, causing them to hate the user or someone else, even everyone around them. This will cause the victim to be hated themselves, and be more willing to kill the person they hate. This can also be used in specific ways, such as racism, homophobia, sexism, etc.
Highlighting: The user can highlight any presence, from an intangible element like a scent, a sound, or a taste to an entity like a person, an object, an animal, etc., allowing them to perceive, locate, identify, and track the target(s) even from afar.
Immortality: The user possesses immortality : an infinite life span, as they can never die, never age , and can shrug off virtually any kind of physical damage. Some users are the defensive type, simply preventing all damages, to appear physically invulnerable , while others are the regenerative type , surviving and quickly recovering from anything you throw at them while at the same time they are capable of resurrecting themselves instantly after death and completely self-sustaining , free from all bodily necessities..

By terror alone, users can be their own victims to emotional paralysis or even cause death from fear alone or even be used overcome any and all obstacles in existence fear enables the user to perform feats of which other, more willful minds may be incapable including the overpowering fear itself.

Supernatural Charisma: Users possess immense charisma that transcends mortal limitations, allowing them to sway virtually anyone as well as entire communities to their cause and service with barely any effort, captivated by their almost irresistible personal gravity and an overriding desire to be part of their world and contribute to its fulfillment. In some cases, the user can develop a sixth sense and various ESP abilities, allowing them to perceive/sense things no ordinary senses can detect.
Supernatural Stamina: Users stamina is glaringly, obviously and super/unnaturally greater than other beings in their universe because their capabilities are pushed beyond the natural level; making them immensely more enduring than regular beings (in that verse).
Team Combinations: The users can combine their strengths to form powerful attacks against common adversaries. For example, if someone with Electric Manipulation combines an attack with someone that used an attack with Water Manipulation . Not only do they do more damage than their attacks alone, but most likely be done at a bigger radius to take out more foes. Super-powered teams are not just for battle, some power combinations can save someone or some people for certain doom. An example would be when someone with Magnetism Manipulation and someone with Telekinesis lifts a heavy metal object that neither could do alone to give people time to escape from harm's way.
Some team combinations are usually done by teams or crew, but they are more effective if the users practice enough. Unfortunately, some combinations are ineffective against a certain being or fail to take out the whole army if the wrong power(s) are used.

True Form: The user can transform their bodies or weapons into their true forms if sealed, restrained, or just not activated, unlocking their dormant power in order to drastically increase their regular power. Unrestricted Movement: User can fluidly move around in any environment or conditions, allowing feats such as kicking off any/all surfaces including intangible and ever-changing surfaces. They can move with complete ease on land, air, water or anything else.
The user's movements cannot be bound, restricted or sealed in any way, allowing them to ignore things like Binding , Acceleration , and even Inertia . They can treat any substance, terrain or angle as if it was a solid, flat and smooth surface.
