Over another month late (for good reason this time, though... I was in Germany visiting family with no internet access), we come to my favorite Robot Master of MM6: Plant Man. His stage was a pain and he had a poorly-executed boss battle (not to mention a lame weapon), but for some reason, I still love him. He was the first Robot Master I ever drew, copying from the game's instruction manual.

I draw Plant Man often, so this one was quite refreshing, though I can never remember all the little details about his design for some reason. *shrugs* The MM6 crew was pretty detailed for NES standards. The scanner messed with the colors a little bit, but overall, this came out quite nicely in my opinion.

While I was overseas, I got some cheap colored pencils to keep me occupied between outings and family visits. They're pretty good for €1.19, if you ask me. Now that I'm back home, I didn't want them to gather dust, so I'm making use of them. I'd color all of the future entries like this, but I'm not sure how long my good pen will hold out inking them like I do, so I'm reserving it for my favorites.
