Description
I kept seeing this "Inktober" thing floating around over the years, but never actually by the first of October, so I've always been too late to jump in. Not this year! Unfortunately, as my scanner has ceased to exist, I'm forced to do this whole thing digitally, though I do have some nice pens that I really need to break in one of these days.Not only am I taking this as a "draw a thing every day for a month" challenge, I'm also constraining myself in two other ways, because I like needless restrictions:
* I can only work at a canvas size of 800x600, alterable only in orientation.
* I can only work in black and white.
Let's see if I can keep at it. I'll be going with the prompts on inktober.com/rules .
============
Well, that was quick. Migraine put me down for the entirety of the third, so that's technically a fail. I'll keep going, though, and draw through as many prompts as I can, including ones I've missed.
Bait brings to mind traps. For some reason, the first thing to come to mind was someone sitting under the classic box trap, but I decided to aim more toward the silly. What are they hoping to catch with pancakes, I wonder...?
This one was a bit of a rush job since I started this one later in the day than I really should have, considering I still have the today's actual prompt to finish... so, no true shading this time. I'm surprisingly satisfied with the result. Hopefully, I should get the actual October 4th entry in before the day is out.
