Description I kept seeing this "Inktober" thing floating around over the years, but never actually by the first of October, so I've always been too late to jump in. Not this year! Unfortunately, as my scanner has ceased to exist, I'm forced to do this whole thing digitally, though I do have some nice pens that I really need to break in one of these days.

Not only am I taking this as a "draw a thing every day for a month" challenge, I'm also constraining myself in two other ways, because I like needless restrictions:

* I can only work at a canvas size of 800x600, alterable only in orientation.
* I can only work in black and white.

Let's see if I can keep at it. I'll be going with the prompts on inktober.com/rules .

============

"Build" is... a blank slate, really. Lots of things can be built, and from a lot of different things. At least I had plenty of time to think on it after getting called in to work today...

So what are we building today? How about the trap from day three? Is that shadowy pair of eyes going to be a recurring theme throughout my Inktober challenge? Who knows?

Ah, line tool... How I've neglected you. I have a bit of an aversion to using shortcuts like that for some reason, but hey... if I can get a clean straight line on paper with a straightedge, I can use the line tool to get a clean straight line in Krita. Feels good to be able to take my time on one of these again, even if I did start a bit late. Sooner or later I'm going to go for a different shading method than the diagonal lines. Ah well.
