My knight in puffy polyester has arrived! ^3^ This page was so much fun, and Sans is the reason. Though, it did take me a solid week of sketching and anatomy books and google image trolling to figure out how to draw the bugger.

Things to say about this page. There are things.

Toriel isn't just an advice column, she's also a 'living' text book. I made an effort to explain how the Underground works in my head. But, really, isn't 'Magic' the answer to any question in or about the Underground? And in my Underground there is weather. It makes sense in my head. Really. I spent at least an hour explaining it to myself one night at work. -_-

I feel like I need to explain that the reason Frisk spins and looses her balance is because Toreil, in a peak of excitement, accidentally took control of Frisk's body. Incidences of this happening will drastically reduce as time goes on, but for now they are going to need some time to adjust to their situation.

And on that note, I should also mention the change in eye color. I realized upon working on this that I wanted some tell as to who is currently in physical control. Eye color seemed like a nice simple way to do that. So, Frisk has gone back to the blue I gave her in the start of the first page. Her irises will change to Tori's red when Goat Mom has the reins.

So Sans. I love Sans. Like almost everybody else out there. I mean, what's there not to like? Anyway, one of the things I love about him is how distinct, yet completely moldable, his character is. No matter what take I've seen others do with him, it's always Sans. At least, that's how I see it. I can only hope people will like my take on him, but if not that's okay too. I shall enjoy my time with him regardless. :3

I spent a long time, actually, debating what I wanted to do with the lamp. I went back and forth on ideas because I wasn't sure how to make it work in comic form. Then my brain suddenly poked me one day and said, 'what if .... frisk was the lamp?' And I was sold. I mean, that would be the most conveniently shaped lamp, would it not? And I have no trouble believing that Sans keeps of plethora of random things in his sentry stations. Because, why not?

Finally, I have learned with this page that I really need to cut back how long these are. This took way too long and was a grind by the end. I'm going to try for less panels for future installments. I would love to be able to get installments up on a weekly basis, but I know I have no real hope of that. But, if I limit myself to ~20 panels per page (rather then the 35 of this beast) perhaps I can get close to that. So long as my muse stays agreeable with me. She really can be a bitch when she wants to.
