Upon learning of this contest I spent maybe 20 seconds pondering my stallions, when I realized there is only one stallion of mine I'd want a Christian foal with: Borvak

Borvak is the first bloodline I owned. And he is entirely un-special; he's completely run-of-the-mill. But that's kinda what makes him special to me. Nearly all the art I do anymore is Bloodline related, and it was all born from this guy. I love this breed; the colors, the characters. They're just so inspiring to me.

Anyway, back to Borvak. Because being normal wasn't enough, he has to be less then normal. He's a freak, an outcast. The average bloodline herd didn't have a place for him, so he made his own. In doing so he made a home for other outcasts. Anyone who doesn't fit in elsewhere, they can find a home with him. Most everyone in his herd is bigger or stronger then he, but not a one questions his role as herd boss.

I'm quite certain this entry isn't really going to hold up to others, but I'm perfectly okay with that. I didn't want to just pick a stallion who'd make the most drop-dead gorgeous baby with a whole smattering of rare genes or such and such. If I was going to have the honor of a foal from our Angel, I want there to be reason for it. And, really, what kind of Angel doesn't have a soft spot for her outcast freaks?
