History: She was found and rescued from a small field next to a recently abandoned house, though it was clear she had been neglected by her previous owners. It's likely they had her from birth or at least a very young age, since she appears to have received almost no handling and is very head shy, fussy about her hooves, and insecure around new things. She's never been at a facility like Sterlingwood, and it has taken her a long time to adjust to her new life.
Personality: A shy, kind-hearted mare who's finally put a rough life behind her. She's friendly towards people but is also skittish and easily overwhelmed by all the new things happening around her. She's happiest out in a field with some other horses, and can't stand being in a stall or in other confined spaces. She was neglected and most likely abused at her previous home, so she has very little self confidence and needs a calm, gentle handler who guides her through everything that scares her.
Stable Behaviour: Lives outside permanently because she can't handle living in a stall. She lived outside for 8 years, and is much happier out in a big field with a shelter (and a blanket if needed)
People Behaviour: Althoug she is friendly towards people, she is also quite timid and easily overwhelmed if it's busy/noisy. It's best to let her approach you on her own terms
Riding Behaviour: She was just recently broken and is still learning the basics. She is being trained as a western horse, but will not be participating in any large shows in her life
Herd Behaviour: She is very comfortable with other horses and knows her place in a herd. It is likely she grew up with a lot of other horses that were gradually sold off over time
