Is it possible that Shrew might actually start posting regularly? We'll have to wait and see... My goal is to finish a drawing every day until the end of the break, and after that I'd like to post bi-weekly. Wish me luck 
I'm still working at letting my work be looser, I did start to nitpick in this piece again and it was difficult to remind myself to stop, leave it, and move on rather than trying to make it look clean. And by taking time away from that, I feel I was able to give more attention to making it look appealing and breathing some life into it. I have mixed feelings about how this turned out, I'm not particularly good at drawing faces let alone colouring them so I'm a bit dissatisfied with how that turned out. It's all part of the drawing process though

I love the texture here! It almost looks like watercolor, or idk, just like a real traditional piece. And I think the face turned out really well! Love the dark under the brow, so focused and serious!

Thank you! I'm still happy with the work I did in it, I feel dissatisfied with the level some of my skills are at since I feel they're a little lacking rather than the piece entirely. If that makes any sense
