Quick question: have you gone to highschool? In Year 9 we all learnt that viruses have constantly changing surface proteins that adapt once their hosts' immune systems start to recognise them. A vaccine teaches the immune system how to fight off the virus, but it recognises that virus by the coating. If the virus changes coating, a new vaccine is needed to update the memory cells. This is why we have a new flu vaccine every year. The 'same diseases' are always evolving to counter your immune system. That's why you can still get sick, the vaccine only protects you against the current strain, not the future ones. A reminder to everyone else to keep up to date on your flu shots!

Vaccines do contain 'poisonous chemical additives such as mercury and aluminum,' There's up to 0.625 milligrams of aluminium in some (not all) vaccines. For context, we consume 30-50 mg of aluminium every day in things we eat and drink. You don't get a vaccine every single day.
As for mercury, most childhood vaccines don't contain mercury anymore due to public backlash, not scientific evidence. When they did, it was less than the amount found in a 100g can of tuna.
I assume you're talking about attenuated live vaccines when you say it's "DIFFERENT" so I'll tell you why the vaccine still works. The virus has been changed to make it less dangerous than the real disease. It causes an immune response (oftentimes a small fever, but not a disease). Because it has the same antigens, it triggers the same immune response, so when the immune system sees those antigens again, they have the same reaction.
Vaccines work as advertised- you are living in the world they built. 1952, 3000 kids in the USA died of polio. Vaccinations started in 1955. The disease was gone from the USA by the late 70s. People can deny what good vaccine have done because they feel safe without them; ironically, because of their widespread use.

They didn't have the scientific organisations and knowledge to perform a good peer review. They had the four humours and exorcisms. In the modern age, the scientific community has revoked their support for bloodletting and opium, and strengthened their support for vaccinations. Vaccines are still used today because they save lives.
